Designed for You - Delivered with Care - Done for Good
How it really works
When you get your hair done at Sublime, everything counts. Your foils are recycled, as is any colour wastage, the hair we cut, and even the empty colour tubes, boxes, and containers.
Chemicals
All colour and bleach leftovers never go down the drain. Instead, chemical waste is carefully collected in a dedicated container and sent to specialised recycling facilities, where it’s safely neutralised and transformed into recycled water — later used on construction sites and road works.
Hair
Hair swept from the salon floor is given a second life — packed into hair booms that help soak up oil spills in our oceans and waterways. We also collect ponytails of 20cm or more, which are donated to charities that craft wigs for those affected by cancer or alopecia.
Metals & Paper
All aluminium foils, colour tubes, cans, cardboard and paper are either repurposed into Refoil for salons or sold for recycling. The proceeds are donated to OzHarvest and KiwiHarvest, helping to provide meals for those in need. Sustainability that gives back
Plastics
All plastics are collected, cleaned, and upcycled into new, useful products — from hair combs and plant pots to sunglasses, dog leashes, furniture, and more.
